Nikoloon® Frames for Balloons
Nikoloon® is the world’s leading manufacturer of frames for balloon decoration. Simply assemble a Nikoloon Frame and add balloons to create a show-stopping decoration piece. Either a balloon decorator or a DIY parent, anyone can do it. There are more than 140 shapes to choose from!
The package includes a backwall in the desired shape (numbers 0-9, swan, mermaid, rocket, shark, or more than 100 others), a corrugated cardboard roll for the sidewall, and detailed visual instructions.
The package includes a complete frame that needs to be assembled, which takes about 20 – 60 minutes, depending on the complexity of the shape.
The back wall of the frame is made of a hard styrofoam plate that has been cut into smaller puzzle-like pieces which fit tightly together once assembled. This system is patent protected.
The corrugated cardboard roll, which can be bent into all possible shapes and curves, is included in the package for the sidewall. This roll needs to be glued to the backwall. If needed, this roll can be cut with scissors to shorter pieces. Width of the sidewall is 11 cm (4,3 inch) or 5,50 cm (2,1 in), depending on the shape.

INSTRUCTIONS
Take the puzzle-like pieces made of styrofoam and fit all the pieces together as shown on the pictures of the included instructions.
Glue the puzzles together using a low temperature glue gun! Make sure that the glue is not too hot as it could melt some of the styrofoam.
Next, if applicable, glue the bottom styrofoam plate which serves as base to the decoration frame.
Once that is done, glue the corrugated cardboard to the edge of the back wall.
Begin at the base of the frame if there is one. Otherwise it does not matter!
Glue the cardboard in such a way that the smooth side is facing out and the corrugated side is facing inward.
Glue only a short length of cardboard at a time, making sure that the glue has cooled/dried a little and then continue to glue the next short piece of cardboard.
Continue in this way until you have glued cardboard side wall to the whole edge of the styrofoam back wall.
The included cardboard roll adjusts completely to all shapes and curves, so this procedure is quite simple.
Once you reach the other side of the base, cut the excess length of cardboard with scissors and glue the remaining length of the cardboard to the base itself to complete the look.
Once the decoration frame is completely assembled, it can be filled with balloons of different sizes and colors. Balloons can be attached onto the frame using double-sided adhesive tape or a low temperature glue gun. Attach large balloons first, then fill the remaining space with smaller balloons in an organic style. Do not force balloons against the cardboard wall, in order to maintain the shape of the design. Before you tie the balloon, make sure it comfortably fits into the space where you plan to attach it. Think of it as using the frames itself as a balloon sizer. By doing this, you will preserve the sharpness and clarity of your design.
